Megan Smith, Project Manager

Carlisle Design | Interiors and Consulting | Megan Smith | Design Assistant | Designer | About

Megan joined Carlisle Design in 2020 as Design Assistant, now Project Manager. Her innate sense of style and creativity coupled with strong communication and organizational skills, developed during her years in the corporate world, make her a perfect fit and a valued member of our busy design team! She’s great at listening and understanding a client’s vision and ensures that the team’s design reflects this vision throughout the collaborative process. Back at her desk, Megan creates renderings and space plans, tracks project management details, and handles the team’s in-house tech and administrative needs. She works with trade vendors to select and source quality furnishings and investigates new brands that particularly highlight sustainability and green practices, a passion for Megan and an important value for Carlisle Design.

A well-traveled Carlisle native, Megan is endlessly inspired by the beauty of nature and the natural world. Her personal style sets a comfortable, organic, and meaningful tone. She appreciates the fine line between form and function and seeks balance in organization, simplicity, and intention in all aspects of her everyday life. She loves the juxtaposition of vintage charm and modern concepts and the fun of getting messy with modern crafting projects and gardening. Her ideal room has a warm patina of brass, cozy, layered neutrals, something special handed down… and a few plants, at least!
